Membership Fees

The Institute’s membership annual subscription is renewable by January 1 every year. Failure to pay six months after it has become due (i.e. June) attracts outright removal from student or member register.

As clearly stated in Section 11a of CIS membership rules & regulations, “A member or registered student shall cease to be a member or registered student if any sum shall remain unpaid after six months from the date on which it was due to the Institute”. Names of such members or students will be published on the Institute journals, website, etc.

Below are various classes of membership fees:

S/N Membership Status Annual Subscription (₦)
1 Diploma Students                 2,000
2 Professional Students                 6,000
3 Graduates               65,000
4 Associates               85,000
5 Fellows               100,000

All payment should be made through our secure and convenient online payment engine. Alternatively, direct payment into the Institute’s accounts:

Please note that personal cheques are not acceptable for payment.

In case of direct lodgments into any of our accounts, members/students are required to get the deposit slip across to us at our secretariat (either as an email attachment or walk into the Institute Secretariat) in exchange for an official receipt as the Institute only recognizes payment receipted.
